One of the best ways to support interaction among The Next Stop members is to engage them in a game. Whether we are all learning something new or enjoying something old, it takes participation to be a part of the group. The wonderful volunteers of The Next Stop know just how to prompt and encourage members to join in the fun!
What a thrill it was recently to see a table full of members playing UNO. Although UNO has been around forever, and we may have played it a million times, it somehow seemed like a whole new game with so many playing. Nothing beats the smile or giggle of a member who gets to say “UNO”.
Recently, The Next Stop was given some newly built ladder golf frames. This “tailgating” game was new to us, but everyone caught on quickly. Thanks to Kristen and Mike for modifying these frames to help our members enjoy success.
